Client Alert - Potential Delay in Processes as FG Appoints Acting Comptroller General of Immigration

The Federal Government of Nigeria has appointed Mrs. Adepoju Carol Wura – Ola as the new acting Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration service (“CGI”). The appointment was announced through a letter dated May 26, 2023, and signed by the secretary of the Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Service Board, Mr. Ja’afaru Ahmed.
